Non Drug Management of Hypertension (Uccharakatchap) Written by Ayurveda People

Uccharakatchap is the most common maladies of mankind affecting about 20% of the population globally. About 600 million hypertensives in world are at the risk of heart attack stroke and cardiac failure. Primary question is whether hypertension was as much prevalent in ancient times i.e. time of Charka and Sushruta as it is in today’s life. The hypertension has excited from the time life exists in the universe because diseases like pakshaghata, mootra ghata, hridroga are well explained in our texts which are common complications associated with hypertension.
