Myths associated with Leucoderma
One need to know that this is not a contagious disease, neither a hereditary disorder. Although a familial trend is observed with some cases. Certain consultants do say that all white food items are to be omitted, viz. no white sugar, no rice, no milk, no curd, no buttermilk, no salt etc. I think its a sheer myth. Nowhere does Ayurveda advocate such Pathya. Some feels its a manifestation of cines of past life (due to Poorvajanma papa). I always tell to all my patients to think ALWAYS POSITIVE, take medicines regularly get rid of this problem.
