Ayurveda workshop on swine flu Written by Kapil Thakur

The SLBS Government Ayurvedic College Handia, organised a workshop on "Prevention and control of swine flu through Ayurveda" at G B Pant Social Science Institute, Jhunsi.

About 100 Ayurvedic specialists of the country participated in the event. Prof Pradeep Bhargava, director, social science institute presided over the function. Prof G S Tomar, principal and superintendent, SLBS Government Ayurvedic College welcomed the guests and highlighted the aims and objective of the workshop.

He stated that though swine flu is spreading fast, it should not lead to panic. Instead, awareness must be spread among the masses. He added though "Tamiflu" was not the Cure of the disease it shortens the duration of illness.
